I’m excited for the first Hobbit for a whole passel of reasons, but mostly because I’ve been waiting 10 years for a LotR movie to come out on my birthday AND THIS YEAR IT IS!!!!! Ugh, I probably have to start planning to buy tickets now to make sure I actually can go see it on my birthday, though…

Just so we’re all on the same page about where I’m at, emotionally speaking, last night I started crying (actual tears) just thinking about Lord of the Rings and how much I love it, and then I watched this clip and spent the whole five minutes audibly sobbing.
